FDG (Dolly) Dlavane

Qualifications:

BA Hons, B Ed Educational Management, MA Setswana, Post-graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science and currently a PhD student in Reading Literacy.

Memberships / Committees:  

Member of, inter alia, SA Association for Language Teaching, SA Council of Educators, and National Language Board: Setswana (Pan South African Language Board), National Lexicography Unit (Pan South African Language Board).  Also a member of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Education Sciences;  a member of the Subject Heads of the Faculty of Education Sciences NWU (Potchefstroom campus) and Organising Committee member of the South African Children`s Literature Conferences.

Dolly started her career as a teacher in Setswana and Mathematics.  She was also a librarian and Chief cataloguer at the Former Bophuthatswana National Library.  She lectured Information Science at Mankwe Christian College of Education and Headed the Cataloguing section.  At Potchefstroom College of Education she was the College Librarian, lectured Library and Information Science and Setswana.  Dolly is currently the head of the subject Group African Languages at the North-west University (Potchefstroom Campus).

She is a researcher in the field of Education, with the main focus on Reading Literacy and Setswana literature.  She is also a translator (English to Setswana and vice versa), editor and proof reader of Setswana information sources.

MK (Kholofelo) Thobejane

Qualifications:

B Com Hons (Agricultural Economics), BCom (Agricultural Economics), MCom (Agricultural Economics), various financial management courses and a professional development certificated for the practitioners of land reform.

Memberships of associations:

 Member of The Agricultural Economics Association of South Africa.

Kholofelo started her career as research assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of the Free State in 2004. She was promoted to Community Service Co-ordinator in 2005. In 2007 she was appointed as Agricultural Development Manager of the Northern Cape Economic Development Agency. In 2008 Kholofelo was appointed as Deputy Director/Chief Policy Development Expert at the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and at present she is the Director, Sector Transformation at the Department.

E (Elmarie) Joynt

Qualifications:

B.Com (Law), LLB, FCIS, FCIBM, Attorney and Notary of the High Court.

Memberships of associations/committees:

Ms Joynt started her career as economist at the Registrar of Companies, after which she practiced as commercial attorney. She also held the position of group company secretary and legal advisor at various organisations in the agricultural and financial sector, before she joined Senwes in 2002. She has been involved with the commercial, agricultural and legal cormmercial sectors for 24 years and is responsible for Investor Services, stakeholder management, strategic corporate actions and commercial affairs, the legal division and legislative compliance. She is the Senwes Key Individual (FAIS), Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of Job Grading Committee. She attended various local and International Courses. She has been accepted as one of the top 100 “In House” Legal Counsel in Africa (2015).

J (Joe) Maswanganyi

Qualifications:

BCom (Industrial Psychology and Business Management), Post Graduate Diploma (Business Administration); EDP.

Memberships of associations:

Joe is currently Group Executive Director at Senwes responsible for strategy, sustainability, and corporate services, which incorporates, strategic HR, corporate marketing, stakeholder relations, corporate social investments, centralized administration, and facilities management. He has experience in banking in areas of small business, commercial and corporate banking gained from the Nedbank Group. He established and worked as Chief executive of SEED Foundation, a non-profit small and medium enterprise development organization which provided financial and non financial support to emerging entrepreneurs. He later served as founder and Managing Director of Excellent Opportunities and AcreSA Consulting, a boutique management consultancy in the areas of strategy, project management and talent management, providing services to the private public and civil society sectors, whilst lecturing part-time at Wits University’s Graduate School of Public and Development Management. He serves on a number of private and non-profit Boards.
