Dr. FDG (Dolly) Dlavane

Qualifications:

PhD in Reading Literacy, BA Hons, B Ed Educational Management, MA Setswana, Post-graduate Diploma in Library and Information Science.

Memberships / Committees:  

Member of, inter alia, SA Association for Language Teaching, SA Council of Educators, and National Language Board: Setswana (Pan South African Language Board), National Lexicography Unit (Pan South African Language Board).  Also a member of the Faculty Board of the Faculty of Education Sciences;  a member of the Subject Heads of the Faculty of Education Sciences NWU (Potchefstroom campus) and Organising Committee member of the South African Children`s Literature Conferences.

Dolly started her career as a teacher in Setswana and Mathematics.  She was also a librarian and Chief cataloguer at the Former Bophuthatswana National Library.  She lectured Information Science at Mankwe Christian College of Education and Headed the Cataloguing section.  At Potchefstroom College of Education she was the College Librarian, lectured Library and Information Science and Setswana.  Dolly is currently the head of the subject Group African Languages at the North-west University (Potchefstroom Campus).

She is a researcher in the field of Education, with the main focus on Reading Literacy and Setswana literature.  She is also a translator (English to Setswana and vice versa), editor and proof reader of Setswana information sources.

Prof. LTB (Leon) Jackson

Qualifications:

PhD (Industrial Psychology), MA (Industrial Psychology), MBA (Strategic Management), Hons. BA (Industrial Psychology) and BA (Industrial Psychology). Currently enrolled for PhD in Cross-Cultural Psychology.

Memberships of associations:

 Non-Executive Director: North West Development Corporation; Council Member: Vuselela TVET College and Board of Trustees: NWU Pension Fund.

Leon started his career as a teacher at Promosa Secondary in 1989. He became the Head of Department for Commercial subjects at Promosa Secondary until 2000. He joined the University of the North West (Potchefstroom Campus) as an Industrial Psychology Lecturer, School for Human Resource Sciences until 2004. In 2005 he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer and then a Director until 2008. He became an Associate Professor in 2008 for the school for Human Resource Science and then an Associate Professor for the NWU Potschefstroom Business School (PBS). He is currently a Professor for the North West University Business School.

E (Elmarie) Joynt

Qualifications:

B.Com (Law), LLB, FCIS, FCIBM, Attorney and Notary of the High Court.

Memberships of associations/committees:

Ms Joynt started her career as economist at the Registrar of Companies, after which she practiced as commercial attorney. She also held the position of group company secretary and legal advisor at various organisations in the agricultural and financial sector, before she joined Senwes in 2002. She has been involved with the commercial, agricultural and legal cormmercial sectors for 24 years and is responsible for Investor Services, stakeholder management, strategic corporate actions and commercial affairs, the legal division and legislative compliance. She is the Senwes Key Individual (FAIS), Chief Compliance Officer and is a member of Job Grading Committee. She attended various local and International Courses. She has been accepted as one of the top 100 “In House” Legal Counsel in Africa (2015).

AM (Mandla) Zwane

Qualifications:

Cert. (N6 Marketing Management), Cert. (Customer Service Management).

Memberships of associations:

Mandla is currently a liason officer at Senwes and is responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of the business how it impacts internal and external stakeholders, this includes collaboration with these stakeholders, building and maintaining relations and coordinating projects between them and the company. He is also in charge of all CSI projects. He worked in the steel industry for 21 years, in which 12 years as a production superintendent and shift manager respectively before working as an LED (Local Economic Development) Coordinator at Bastion for 2 years and then joining Senwes.
