Dr. FDG (Dolly) Dlavane

Dolly started her career as a teacher in Setswana and Mathematics.  She was also a librarian and Chief cataloguer at the Former Bophuthatswana National Library.  She lectured Information Science at Mankwe Christian College of Education and Headed the Cataloguing section.  At Potchefstroom College of Education she was the College Librarian, lectured Library and Information Science and Setswana.  Dolly is currently the head of the subject Group African Languages at the North-west University (Potchefstroom Campus).

She is a researcher in the field of Education, with the main focus on Reading Literacy and Setswana literature.  She is also a translator (English to Setswana and vice versa), editor and proof reader of Setswana information sources.

 

 

 

Prof. LTB (Leon) Jackson

Qualifications:

Prof. Jackson started his career as a teacher at Promosa Secondary School in 1989. He became the Head of Department for Commercial subjects at Promosa Secondary until 2000. He then joined the University of the North West (Potchefstroom Campus) as an Industrial Psychology Lecturer, in the School for Human Resource Sciences until 2004.
In 2005 he was appointed as a Senior Lecturer and then a Director until 2008. He became an Associate Professor in 2008 for the school for Human Resource Science and later appointed as an Associate Professor for the NWU Potchefstroom Business School (PBS). He is currently appointed as a Professor for the North West University Business School.

Ms. Joynt started her career as an economist at the Registrar of Companies, after which she practiced as a commercial attorney. She also held the position of Group Company Secretary and Legal Advisor at various organizations in the agricultural and financial sector, before she joined Senwes in 2002.
She has been involved with the commercial, agricultural and legal sectors for 24 years and is responsible for Investor Services, stakeholder management, strategic corporate actions and commercial affairs, the legal division and legislative compliance. She attended various local and International Courses. She has also been accepted as one of the top 100 “In House” Legal Counsel in Africa (2015).
She has been serving as the Group Legal Counsel and Group Company Secretary at Senwes for almost 20 years, where she was appointed in 2002 to head the Legal and Secretariat department of the Senwes Group, legally representing and assisting its subsidiaries and joint ventures.

AM (Mandla) Zwane

Qualifications:

  • - National Diploma. (Marketing Management); and
  • - Cert. (Customer Service Management)

Mr. Zwane is the Relationship Manager at Bastion; a joint venture company between Senwes Ltd and NWK Ltd, after having served as a liaison officer at Senwes. He is responsible for maintaining thorough knowledge of the business, how it impacts internal and external stakeholders, this includes collaboration with the relevant stakeholders, building and maintaining relations and coordinating projects between them and the company. He is also in charge of the CSI projects of the company. He worked in the steel industry for 21 years, in which he served 12 years as a production Superintendent and Shift Manager respectively before working as an LED (Local Economic Development) Coordinator at Bastion for 2 years and then later joining Senwes.

BC (Boniwe) Rolihlahla

Qualifications:

  • - LLM (Public Law and Legal Philosophy);
  • - LLB; and
  • - Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.

Mrs. Rolihlahla started her career in 2018 as a Candidate Attorney at a Law firm in Klerksdorp, upon which she completed her articles of clerkship and got admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She then joined Senwes in 2020 as a Graduate in the Legal department, through the Senwes annual Graduate Programme. She is currently appointed as a Junior Legal Advisor, wherein she assists in the provision of legal advice and assistance in the company.
